Aruba Instant On is the business-class Access Point (AP) solution for you. The AP11D model is unique within the Instant On AP lineup in that it has one uplink port and three downlink Ethernet ports to connect to other devices. It is best used “in room” with its desktop or “in wall” setup. It also can be used in ieu of a local router, with its uplink port connected to an Internet modem and its downlink ports providing network connectivity. Aruba Instant On AP models can be mixed in the same network. Instant On APs work together in concert, with shared security access and presenting a common network across your facility. There are two ordering options based on your chosen power approach. This model (R2X15A) is just the unit, only recommended if you plan to attach to a PoE capable Ethernet switch. Also available is a power bundle (R3J25A) that ships with Aruba’s 48V power adapter and cord.
