The adapters are suitable for round and oval bars up to 10 cm in diameter. Reluctant to drill holes? Then the Y-adapters are perfect for you! They can easily be fitted onto the baby gate instead of the adjusting screws. The Y-spindle adapters are compatible with the current hauck safety gates for doors and stairs, such as the Clear Step Autoclose 2, Clear Step 2 and the Open N Stop 2. With the Y-spindles, pressure alone holds the stair gate in place. Simply clamp the safety gate into place and take it out again just as easily. No marks left behind. Is the Y-spindle adapters 11 cm thread length not enough to attach your stair gate? Then simply make the gate wider by using hauck extensions of either 9 cm or 21 cm.
